Die Maschine flog als "schwarze 1" bei der 11./JG 5. Sie ist am 23.08.1944 nahe Petsamo im Norden von Russland abgestürzt. Der Pilot Willi Schlammer wurde anhand der gefundenen Erkennungsmarke identifiziert.
Im Jahre 1999 wurden die Reste geborgen und bis 2007 von der Aircraft Restoration
Group Ltd. restauriert. Es soll noch 75% an der Maschine original sein.

Anfangs wurde die Werknummer 411968 mit dem Stammkennzeichen RX+FM vermutet. Inzwischen soll es sich um die Werknummer 411768 mit dem Stammkennzeichen RW+ZI handeln.
