Die Firma Gateguards (UK) Ltd. hat sich auf den Bau von Repliken im Maßstab 1:1 spezialisiert. Der hier vorliegende Nachbau einer Bf 109 E-4 wurde aus GFK gefertigt. Es wurden keine Originalteile verwendet. Der Nachbau wurde im Mai 2017 fertiggestellt. Die Besitzer sind Steve und Mel Heappey von der Firma ICONIC WW2 AIRCRAFT, welche den Nachbau vermieten wollen.
Es wurde der Anstrich einer "gelben 6" von der 6./JG 51 aufgebracht.
