Da der Bau des deutschen Flugzeugträgers gestoppt wurde, wurden keine Bordflugzeuge mehr benötigt. Bei der T-2 wurden alle Bauteile für den Bordjägereinsatz entfernt (Fanghaken, Katapultbeschläge,...).
Es wurden von dieser Version 63 Maschinen gebaut.[Q-158]
